Time flys!

Hi all, almost finished my course, last day tomorrow & I'm here at 8:30pm working franticly to get the last assignments complete. Finally finished my trave assignment, 17 pages!!! man I struggled over that one & another, Physical features of Australia is slowly comming together, as is the Sustainability at Durack assignment. However the Where do you live? & the Recycling projects are yet to be started, grrrhhh!!! Need sleep soon so will do what I can & if I don't get it done by tomorrow too bad. I have put 100% effort in where some students dont even turn up to class. Must not dilly dally, keep cool till after school!!!

Its been raining!

I love the rain. Living in Western Australia, we don't get rain often so when we do, it is so refreshing. The sound of it hitting the roof & the fresh smell after, lovely. I gave myself permission to sleep in this morning, so off to a slow start today. Meeting a friend at the Aquarena later for Hydro, a change from my daily walking, the dogs wont be pleased! Might have to take them this evening & enjoy the sunset. Slowly catching up with my assignments, would like to attatch photos with my posts but havent worked that out yet. Day Three

Well, still working my way around this blogging business. Tec savvy son Mr Ricky suggested I copy & paste the URL to my facebook page to let friends & family know what I'm up to, so have done that, hope a few of them pop by to check out all my good work, lol. Still got heaps of work to get through, so better get onto it, hope you're having a good week, hump day so on the down hill ride to the weekend!! Yahoo!!! Chat again soon, love to you all, xxx

Day two

Hi all, just going over what I did at Tafe' last week & updating a bit. Have had so much homework to get done this weekend & I haven't done as much as I would have liked. At least I'm on to it now.

This weekend instead of doing the usual walk around the block with the dogs, I took them down the beach yesterday so we could walk in the ocean, I just love the sensation of the water lapping at my feet, the sand beneath the soles of my feet, the wind in my hair & the sun on my face. So rejuvinating. Today we took a little drive to the river & walked along the trail for our daily exercise. A few flies were out-n-about, summer's well-n-truly on the way!!

Well I am trying to work out the best way to let my family & friends on facebook know about this project & get them involved. Might need to check in with the tutor or my tec savvy son, Mr Ricky. Chatt again soon, xx

Day one

Hello to the world of blogging. I am currently at Tafe' , Durack- Institute of Technology, Geraldton, Midwest Western Australia. As part of my course we have been instructed to start a blog. It is an interesting journey, unfortuinitly due to the choices I made in my youth, I now find myself back at 'school' trying to graduate with a group of mostly young people who appear to not really want to be here. I am struggling to keep a lid on how I feel about the rude behaviour & general attitude of the younger members of the class. While I accept they have a right to access a place of learning, this is an adult instution & I also have a right to access the adult learning environment I was informed this would be. With less than seven week to go till the end of this course, I am doing my best to stay focused & on track to achieve MY desired outcome.
